The Chestnut Family Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2021 Henry M. Chestnut Scholarship in honor of Mr. Pears at Bay High School. This year’s recipients are Dante Gordon and Charles Campbell. Dante will attend the University of West Florida, and Charles will attend Florida State University where he'll also play football. Both young men are incredibly academically gifted and will be the first members of their families to attend college. Each recipient will receive $2,000 to be used towards their college expenses.
This year’s scholarship is especially meaningful as Ben’s beloved father, Henry M. Chestnut, passed away earlier this year. The support of the Bay High School community has meant a lot to the Chestnut family during this trying time, and they look forward to continuing their support of this important scholarship.
